Pump (House) Up The Jam:
Curb's Lee Brice, songwriter Rob Hatch, producer Elisha Hoffman and business operators Derek Hutchins and Kristi Hutchins have launched Pump House Records, an artist development collective is "run by artists, for artists," says Hatch. The team's first project is a new album from singer/songwriter Nick Norman. "Nick and I have been friends since we were six years old, then as teenagers, we worked together as counselors at church camp," says Brice. "We both loved to sing, so the preacher allowed us to turn the little pump house behind the church into a recording studio where we could record gospel music. That's where it all started."
