Bits & Pieces: Producer Tony Brown was the first recipent of the Tennessee Songwriters Association International's new Lifetime Achievement Award, presented March 23 at a Nashville-area Sam Ash Music Store by songwriter Terry McBride. Said Brown, "I am deeply humbled to be recognized by the community for my contributions that have helped shape the careers of countless songwriters.”

Beasley Media Group/Boston has inked a multi-year partnership with Boston Marathon organizer the Boston Athletic Association. As part of the deal, Beasley’s WKLB will broadcast live from the April 15 race, starting in Hopkinton, MA. All five of the company’s Boston stations will provide on-air content and marketing, as well as onsite support.
