Yield And Stream: Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify are furthering their strategic relationship to share short pre-release teasers and expand pre-save opportunitites. The move will also allow Spotify to distribute UMG music videos in the U.S. "We’re excited to broaden our relationship with Spotify through the introduction of new content offerings and collaborations that will bring deeper ‘social music’ experiences to the platform," says UMG Chairman/CEO Sir Lucian Grainge.
