- Monthly podcast listening increased to a new high of 47%, after being off from 2021's 41% over the last two years.
- Monthly online listening rose from 75% to 76%, or approximately 218 million people, with 90% of those under 35 listening online monthly.
- Streaming brand awareness saw Pandora on top with 84%, followed by Spotify (81%), Apple Music (76%) and iHeartRadio and YouTube Music at 74% each.
- Spotify led in audio brand usage at 35%, followed by YouTube Music (19%) and Apple Music (14%).
- Social media usage was flat at 82% (235 million people).
- Facebook continued to lead social media awareness at 94%, followed by Instagram (92%) and TikTok (91%). X (formerly Twitter) was at 82% while newcomers Threads and Truth Social had 29% and 25% awareness, respectively.
