KYSM's Blais Leaves: Alpha KYSM/Mankato, MN morning host George Blais retired from radio today (4/1) after nearly 30 years in the industry. “I’m excited to tell all who don’t know [wife and former morning partner] Jessica Blais and I are back together every weekday morning with a podcast,” shares Blais via Facebook. “So, rather than goodbye, I would say it’s good to be back! This, combined with my freelance work, should keep me plenty busy in my quasi-retirement.” Blais joined KYSM in 2011 (CAT 2/28/11) and has handled Dir./Production and on-air duties during his tenure. He has handled mornings solo since Jessica’s departure in January (CAT 1/21). No word on plans for the position.
