iHeartRadio Music Awards 2024 Winners
Cowboy Charter: Jelly Roll was named Best New Artist (Pop and Country) at last night's (4/1) iHeartRadio Music Awards. "People always told me I had a face for radio," he joked during his acceptance speech. Additional winners included Lainey Wilson's "Heart Like A Truck" (Country Song); Morgan Wallen (Country Artist and Country Album, One Thing At A Time); and Ashley Gorley (Songwriter). Mr. Roll was joined by Wilson for a performance of "Save Me," and Beyoncé accepted the Innovator Award from Stevie Wonder, who played the harmonica in her cover of "Jolene." “Being an innovator often means being criticized, which often will test your mental strength," she said. "My hope is that we are more open to the joy and liberation that comes from enjoying art with no preconceived notions.”
