Nielsen Updates Market Ranks
Ranks A Million: Nielsen Audio released its market population and rank updates, effective with the Spring 2024 survey. For the first time in more than 20 years, there is a change in ranks within the Top 5, as Dallas-Fort Worth jumps from No. 5 to No. 4 with a population increase of more than 200,000, pushing San Francisco from No. 4 to No. 5. Other moves include Miami from 12 to 11, Tampa from 17 to 16, Austin from 29 to 28, Raleigh from 37 to 35, Nashville from 40 to 39 and Jacksonville from 46 to 44. In diary markets, Richmond moves from 53 to 51, Ft. Myers from 56 to 54 and Daytona Beach from 92 to 87. Complete list here.
