Chronicle: Hentschel
Chronicle:
Cumulus/Fayetteville, AR PD and KAMO morning host "Big Dan" Hentschel passed away March 30. He was 72. With the exception of two short excursions, Hentschel spent his entire 50 year career in northwest Arkansas and had been with the Cumulus cluster for the past 22. KAMO posted on its Facebook page, "The loss of Big Dan is indescribable. He was truly a man that was larger than life. To say that the Nash family is in shock would be an understatement, but we also know that Jean and the entire Hentschel family are hurting and our prayers go out to them at this time." A celebration of life will be held April 6 at 1pm at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Springdale, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association. Full obituary here.
