CMA's Amy Smartt Retires
Smartt Watch: Longtime CMA SVP/Finance & Administration Amy Smartt is retiring, effective Wednesday (4/9). "I’m deeply thankful for the incredible CMA team, whose dedication and excellence make this organization what it is," she says. "The past 11 years working alongside Sarah Trahern have been especially meaningful, and I’m beyond grateful for her partnership and friendship. And our board members' guidance and support have been instrumental in CMA’s success." Smartt has been with CMA since 2006, and previously spent nine years in a financial operations role at Vanderbilt University. She also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the CMA Foundation. After her departure, Smartt can be reached here. CMA VP/Finance & Administration Ben Balch will assume her responsibilities.
