Chronicle:
Alpha KZEN/Columbus, NE morning host Jeff Iler passed away March 26 at the age of 64. He joined KZEN as part of then-Three Eagles Communications in May 1995, spending nearly 26 years in mornings. Iler's prior career stops include KTOM/Monterey, CA. “Known for his booming voice and sense of humor, Jeff’s early-moring antics will be misses,” says a station Facebook post. “Jeff came to work every day with the intent to make your day better by listening to the radio.” A memorial service will be held later in the summer, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital here. See Iler’s complete obituary here.
