Audacy Sells WLFP
Audacy To Sell WLFP: No official word, but Audacy has agreed to sell WLFP/Memphis and Hot AC WTSS/Buffalo to Educational Media Foundation (EMF) according to paperwork filed with the FCC today (4/7). The sale price for the two stations is $15.5 million. WLFP will be the second major market Country station in the last year to be sold to EMF, as KRTY/San Jose was purchased and flipped to Christian AC last June (CAT 6/17/22). WLFP has been Country since 2014 (CAT 9/26/14) and ranked 13th in the market with a 2.9 share in the February Nielsen ratings. See FCC filing here.
