Mariner's Ball Club: Former Dickey Broadcasting Sports WCNN-AM/Atlanta midday host Ray Mariner has joined Cumulus' WRKN (Nash FM)/New Orleans and Sports sister WMTI as PD. "Ray is a rare breed of programmer and talent," says SVP/Programming Mike McVay. "He has shown his programming acumen by performing and succeeding at the highest level. We're excited to have him oversee the programming of both Nash FM 92.3 and 106.1 The Ticket in New Orleans." Mariner's past radio experience includes mornings on Hot AC WSTR/Atlanta, and programming-related stints in Myrtle Beach, SC and Charlotte.
