He shared on Facebook, "I am in my 26th year working for West Virginia Radio Corporation, add another 20 years at WDNE before that, and you have 46 years in radio ... July 2 is my 65th birthday ... as I have said at the end of many a shift, 'It's been fun, but I'm done.'"
