AIMP Nashville Winner Named

Memory Lane: Jessie Jo Dillon was named Songwriter of the Year at the Association for Independent Music Publishers' 10th annual AIMP Nashville Awards last night (4/8) at Marathon Music Works. Dillon's publisher, Big Machine Music, took home honors as Top Independent Music Publisher. Jordan Davis won for Artist/Writer, Zach Top for Rising Artist/Writer and Jon Decious for Rising Songwriter of the Year. Cody Johnson's "The Painter" earned Song of the Year for its writers, Benjy Davis, Kat Higgins and Ryan Larkins. Concord Music Publishing Sr. Dir./A&R Courtney Allen was named Song Champion of the Year for "her enduring and significant contributions to the independent publishing and songwriting community," and "Hell Is A Dance Floor" earned the Publisher Pick of the Year award for writers Vincent Mason and Chase McDaniel.
