The show drew 5.38 million viewers and helped CBS win the evening, with the awards show topping American Idol's 4.36m viewers on ABC and the 1.26m viewers of NBC's repeat of The Voice. By comparison, last fall's CMA Awards drew 6.61m viewers on ABC (CAT 11/9/23).
