Down Home On The Farm: Big Machine’s Tim McGraw has launched a Nashville-based entertainment, media and marketing company, Down Home Media. The company is a collaborative partnership between McGraw; his management company, EM.Co; and social media content studio, Shareability. EM.Co’s Brian Kaplan serves as Co-Founder/Chief Strategy Officer while Shareability founder Tim Staples is Co-Founder/CEO. “Our stories are honest vignettes of life and family and community,” says McGraw. “Those stories are the stories I like to tell, and that’s what I want our company to be about.” The venture has closed an investment and first-look deal with Skydance Media.
