Tornado Benefits
Clear Channel'sWSIX/Nashville raised $4,300 over the weekend for the American Red Cross to help victims of the tornado that hit Murfreesboro, TN last Friday (4/10). The station collected donations at the Nashville Superspeedway Saturday (4/11), the Nashville Sounds Triple-A baseball game Sunday (4/12) and a Murfreesboro Wal-Mart Monday (4/13). You can still donate here.
Also, another reminder for tomorrow's (4/16) Storm Relief Benefit Concert for BPP regional Rocco Cosco and his family, whose home was destroyed in the aforementioned tornado. Show starts at 5:30pm at Nashville's Tin Roof with a $10 minimum donation. Performers include Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, Lee Brice, Steve Holy, David Nail, Jason Michael Carroll and Darryl Worley.
