Lost Highway Names Leadership
UMG/Nashville's recently relaunched Lost Highway Records has teamed with Interscope Geffen A&M, and installed Robert Knotts and Jake Gear as EVPs and Co-Heads of the Nashville-based imprint. Knotts previously was SVP/Artist & Label Services at Thirty Tigers, where he worked for 12 years. Gear joined UMG/Nashville as VP/A&R last year from the EVP position at Hang Your Hat Music (CAT 3/19/24). UMG/Nashville revived Lost Highway in January in partnership with producer/songwriter T Bone Burnett (CAT 1/17), with Ringo Starr's Look Up becoming its first release since 2012. Burnett will collaborate with the label on projects, including a 25th anniversary edition of the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. The label will focus on blues, R&B, country, folk and rock.
