KOKE Sold
KOKE Sold: Norsan Media has purchased the Genuine Austin Radio cluster, whose four signals include Texas/Red Dirt KOKE, for an undisclosed amount. Norsan already owns four signals in the Austin market, all of which carry Hispanic-focused programming. No word on the fate of KOKE's format or staff, which includes Country Radio Hall of Famer morning host Bob Cole, OM/afternoon host Eric Raines and midday host Deena Blake. Cole was one of the investors who purchased the station and flipped it to KOKE in 2012 (CAT 7/5/12). The company ceased subscribing to Nielsen following the Holiday 2023 survey, when KOKE had a 1.6 share and a cume of 65,000.
