Miranda Lambert has signed with Republic Records, a deal which includes support from Big Loud including Country radio promotion and marketing. Lambert's first new music since 2022's Palomino, the single "Wranglers," will be available May 3. Lambert left Sony Music Nashville, her label home of more than 20 years, last year (CAT 3/15/23). She performs at Stagecoach Saturday (4/27).

"Music is and always will be the thing that drives me, but having a new home has given me a hunger I didn’t realize I still had inside me," Lambert says. "This song feels like it could be on the same record as ‘Gunpowder & Lead’; it has that same fury. I can’t wait to get out there with this new label and this new music ...
