Max Media/Norfolk AC WVBW Brand Manager Jay West has been elevated to OM for the cluster, which includes day-to-day programming of Country WGH. He succeeds Mike "Moose" Smith, who exited last month (CAT 3/28). "Jay's exceptional leadership skills and deep understanding of our industry make him the ideal candidate to lead our team," says VP/MM Keith Barton. West has been in the market since 1995 and joined WVBW in afternoons in 2020, adding Brand Manager duties later that year. His previous stops include Buffalo, Milwaukee, Houston and Philadelphia.
