No West For The Weary: Max Media/Norfolk AC WVBW Brand Manager Jay West has been elevated to OM for the cluster, which includes day-to-day programming of Country WGH. He succeeds Mike "Moose" Smith, who exited last month (CAT 3/28). West has been in the market since 1995 and joined WVBW in afternoons in 2020, adding Brand Manager duties later that year. His previous stops include Buffalo, Milwaukee, Houston and Philadelphia. Reach him here.

The move is the latest in a series of changes at the station over the past month, which include the departures of morning hosts Cash Warren (CAT 3/26) and Annaliese Lemieux-Kaplan, the move of APD/MD/midday host Karen West to mornings and the additon of Barry McKay in middays (CAT 4/22).
