Chronicle: Sinclair

Chronicle: Sinclair owner Robert "Bob" Sinclair passed away April 20. He was 79. Sinclair joined the company founded by his father in the late 1960s. He helped expand the company to almost half a dozen markets, though it has been pared back to stations in Austin and Norfolk, including Country WUSH. There will be a private gathering in June. In lieu of donations, friends are encouraged to honor Sinclair, who visited more than 100 countries, by spending it instead on travel. Full obituary here.

Country and gospel artist, comedian and Hee Haw star Louise "Lulu" Roman died April 23 at the age of 78. She joined the cast of Hee Haw in 1969, her first career break, and went on to achieve success in gospel music. No word on services.
