Murphy's Law: Programming vet Jim Murphy has been named PD at Citadel's KATC (Kat Country)/Colorado Springs, succeeding Nick Alan, who left earlier this month (CAT 4/01) for nights/imaging at KKWF/Seattle. Murphy was most recently VP/Country Programming for Dial Global Networks, where he spent 15 years. His resume also includes Greater Media's WBCS/Boston (now WKLB) and ABC Radio's Real Country Network (now part of Citadel Media). Murphy is already on the job and can be reached here.
