Tucson Flip In
Tucson Gets Hank: Lotus Spanish AC KLPX-HD3 flipped to Classic Country as "93.3 Hank FM" today (4/28) at noon MST. The signal is also simulcast on 200-watt translator K227DX, which covers most of the northern half of the city. This is the fifth Lotus station to adopt the jockless Hank FM format and branding in the past 14 months, joining KXPT-HD2 & K234BS/Las Vegas (CAT 3/17), KTHI/Boise, KPLZ/Seattle and KXZZ/Reno. In the February Nielsen Audio ratings, Cumulus KIIM was third with a 6.9 share and iHeartMedia's KHUD was 10th with a 3.1 (CAT 4/2). Sister Classic Rock PD Larry Mac is handling programming; reach him here.
