That King You Do: Former iHeartMedia KSSN/Little Rock APD/MD/midday personality Ashley King has joined crosstown Signal KHLR for afternoons. She succeeds Nick Allan, who departed in February after less than a year (CAT 6/13/19). King departed KSSN in September after more than three years to focus full-time on her hosting role for local CBS-TV affiliate lifestyle and entertainment show The Vine (CAT 9/6/19). She will retain her television duties in addition to her work at KHLR. “[Ashley] is great on the radio and has a true passion for country music,” PD Mike Kennedy tells Country Aircheck. King’s prior career stops include iHeartMedia/Fayetteville, AR; WIVK/Knoxville; and KHPQ/Clinton, AR.
