CAT/Country NRHoF Nominees
Petal Tavern: As reported via Breaking News, this year's National Radio Hall of Fame (NRHoF) will be celebrated in Nashville for the first time. Inductees will be voted on beginning May 20, with four Country nominees among the 24 on this year's ballot: Compass/Silverfish Media's Big D & Bubba, Premiere's Crook & Chase, WPOC/Baltimore morning host Laurie DeYoung and Guinness World Record Holder and KVST/Conroe, TX host Mary McCoy.
"Kudos to the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee for recognizing this year’s class of nominees whose careers only add to the special place radio holds in the hearts and minds of generations of listeners across the country," says NRHoF Co-Chair Dennis Green. Voting will be open through June 3. The top six vote recipients will be inducted, along with two inductees selected by the Nominating Committee. Inductees will be announced June 17. The ceremonies will be held Sept. 19 at the Omni Hotel Nashville, the first time the event has ever been held outside of Chicago or New York. See all nominees here.
