Label Launches With Vassar: New venture Rodeowave Entertainment will launch new music from Phil Vassar tomorrow (5/3). Operationally headed by industry vet Teddi Bonadies, Rodeowave is a full-service label, promotion staff and entertainment management company. Promotion efforts will be directed by Bill Macky, who resigned as VP/Promotion at Stroudavarious last week (CAT 4/29). Another key principal will be added soon. Former Nine North rep Stan Marczewski (CAW 4/18) will work the Northeast and Midwest for the label, with promotion vet Ken Rush signing on for the Southwest.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Phil since the inception of his career," Bonadies says. "He is a consummate artist and a hit songwriter. His energy and drive are infectious and I'm looking forward to great things to come." Adds Macky, "I couldn't be more excited to be joining Phil, Teddi and the entire Rodeowave team; they've already assembled a great group of professionals.
