Another Simpson In Springfield: Scripps KTTS/Springfield, MO afternoon news person Nancy Simpson will join Cash Williams for mornings beginning May 7. She fills the vacancy left by Summer Steven's exit in February (CAT 2/21). "I've always thought Nancy would be perfect in this role," says PD Mark Grantin. "She's a mom, well-connected in the community, bonds with the KTTS listeners, is a superior storyteller, loves country music ... just had to wait for her kids to grow up."
