Bits & Pieces: Luke Combs, Kane Brown, KVOO
Bits & Pieces: Appalachian State University presented an honorary music degree to Luke Combs during its May 7 commencement ceremonies. The honor recognizes Combs for "his historic achievements in the music industry and his commitment to using his platform as a catalyst for service and community impact."
Kane Brown’s On Broadway will open in Nashville May 22 with surprise appearances from Brown throughout the weekend, as well as a charitable partnership with Folds of Honor. The multi-story bar, restaurant and live music venue is located in the 11,400 sq. ft. building that previously housed The Valentine (CAT 2/19).
Staffers at Ascension St. John in Tulsa decorated the hospital to look like Griffin Classic Country KVOO. After hearing about it, the station's air staff stopped by this morning (5/8) to have a look and hand out shirts and Starbucks gift cards to the hospital team. Watch here.
