Life Note:
Marker KPLM/Palm Springs, CA morning host Tommy “C” Carrera is home and recovering following a motorcycle accident this past Saturday (5/8). “I went to Phoenix to visit my mom’s gravesite for Mother’s Day,” Carrera tells Country Aircheck. “The winds were freak speeds, [but] I thought I was home free – just eight miles from my house. I’m very sore but thankful to be alive and thankful for my safety gear.” Wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour shoved Carrera’s motorcycle into the center median where he hit a concrete barrier. The bike landed on his left thigh, but x-rays revealed no broken bones. Carrera is recovering from bruised ribs and road rash. Send well wishes here.
