Capitol One: After being announced as the head of Capitol Music Group's newly-launched Nashville division (Breaking News 5/13), Candice Watkins posted on Facebook, "I didn’t see this coming a year ago. I couldn't be more excited for this new chapter. Ready!" Watkins, the former Big Loud SVP/Marketing, will serve as President of Capitol Records Nashville and EVP of Capitol Christian Music Group. The combined company will be located in Nashville's Wedgewood Houston area. Artists previously signed to Capitol/Nashville and its reorganized promotion staff remain at the newly formed MCA (Breaking News 4/24). Watkins' background includes jobs at UMG/Nashville, Red Light, Mozes Inc., Borman Entertainment and Cross Point. President Brad O’Donnell will continue to lead Capitol Christian Music Group.
