WPOR's Kirshbaum Departs:
Saga WPOR/Portland, ME midday personality Randi Kirshbaum has departed after 38 years with the cluster and 14 with the station. She also served as Brand Mgr./on-air personality for AC sister WMGX and handled afternoons for Triple A clustermate WCLZ. Kirshbaum’s prior career stops include time in Boston; Washington, DC; Baltimore and Minneapolis. Reach her here. At WPOR, PD Jonathan “JR” Ruppel says “duties are being absorbed internally for the foreseeable future,” with morning co-host Joe Lerman adding 10am-noon duties and Ruppel expanding his afternoon shift to cover 12pm-6pm.
