Bob Pittman, Dennis Green Among Radio Hall Of Fame Honorees
Pieces Of Eight: "Each of these inductees has performed at the highest levels for a sustained period of time to make our industry that much more impactful to listeners and advertisers as a result," says Radio Hall of Fame co-Chair Kraig Kitchen, announcing the eight members of the class of 2026, as reported this morning (5/20) via Breaking News. The newly-named inductees are iHeartMedia Chairman/CEO Bob Pittman, Sun & Fun Media/Key Networks COO Dennis Green, Urban One/Reach Media's Rickey Smiley, WFAN/New York's Boomer Esiason, SiriusXM's Shotgun Tom Kelly, WLTW/New York's Helen Little, Charlie Van Dyke (who worked on-air in Dallas, L.A., San Francisco, Detroit, Boston and Chicago) and Chicago radio icon Fred Winston (WLS, WFYR, WMAQ and WJMK, among others). They'll be inducted Oct. 8 at Chicago's Fairmont Hotel; tickets here.
