Chronicle: Veteran Syracuse broadcaster Gary Gallup, known in his radio career as Bob Paris, died May 4 at the age of 78 following a battle with leukemia. His lengthy Central New York radio career included time as PD for WTKW, which he launched as Country station "TK99" in 1992. Services are set for May 26 at 1pm at the Malden Road United Church of Christ in Mattydale, NY, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Humane Association of CNY. Full obituary here.
