Dave Kelly To Depart KSCS:
Cumulus/Dallas VP/Market Manager Dan Bennett told his staff in a late afternoon email today that KSCS PD Dave Kelly was leaving the station to "move back to Nashville to be closer to his family." Kelly, whose last day will be June 4, had added day-to-day PD duties of the then-Citadel KSCS to his oversight of WKDF/Nashville and WGKX/Memphis in Sept. 2010. Bennett also told the Dallas staffers, "In Dave’s time as PD of KSCS, he took over a station with ratings issues and did a terrific job getting KSCS back to ratings success. The station sounds great, and he leaves it in the best shape in years. I want to personally thank Dave for his tireless efforts in making KSCS the best it can be. We all appreciate what he has done!" Bennett added that he was taking applications for the KSCS PD post "effective immediately." Contact him here.
