Alpha Cuts: Alpha KYSM/Mankato, MN morning co-host Doug Gerdes and afternoon host TJ Palesotti have both exited amidst the company's ongoing staff reductions. KEYC-TV reports that all on-air staff in the Mankato cluster have been laid off. Both Gerdes and Palesotti joined the station in April 2022 (CAT 4/5/22); Palesotti had been with the cluster since 2020. The moves follow cuts at the company's stations in Missouri (CAT 5/8), Iowa and South Dakota (CAT 5/22).
