Kline, Lacy Are WMN Co-Presidents:
Warner Music Nashville EVP/GM Ben Kline and EVP/A&R Cris Lacy have been elevated to Co-Presidents. The move comes as Chairman/CEO John Esposito (“Espo”) segues to Chairman Emeritus at the top of 2023 (Breaking News 4/19). “Under Espo’s brilliant guidance over the past 13 years, our Nashville team has built superstar career, attracted original new voices, innovated in the digital world and championed the creative community,” says Warner Recorded Music CEO Max Lousada. “I’ve no doubt Cris and Ben will grow and evolve our artist-first philosophy with ingenuity, skill and style. In the streaming era, country music is increasingly becoming global music, and Ben and Cris make a dynamic duo to lead our pioneering Nashville label into the future.” Esposito stays on in his current capacity through 2022 and can be reached here.
