A-Nance-ment: Beasley WSOC/Charlotte's married afternoon hosts Charlie & Debbie Nance are moving to mornings, effective June 22. They will succeed the Tanner In The Morning show's Rob Tanner, Catherine Lane and Chris Allen, who are all retiring (CAT 5/26). The Nances have hosted afternoons at WSOC for 20 years. VP/MM Mac Edwards says the couple “truly embody the spirit of the station and the community we serve.” No word on plans for afternoons, or for the Lane-hosted midday show.
