Chronicle: Great Plains Media/Bloomington, IL GM/EVP Megan Schjolberg (née Zimmer) passed away May 31. She was 47. Schjolberg was the granddaughter of Jerome B. Zimmer, who founded Zimmer Radio, and daughter of Jerry, who owns Great Plains. Schjolberg had been the GM for the cluster, which includes Country WIBL, for 18 years. Memorial visitation will be held June 6 from 10am to 12:45pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (106 W Chestnut St., Bloomington, IL 61701). Funeral mass will follow the visitation.
