CMA Fest 2026 Recap
We Back: Night one (6/4) of CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium brought a mix of announced main stage sets and major surprises. Jason Aldean closed the show with “She's Country,” following performances from Rhett Akins, Ella Langley, Tucker Wetmore and Deana Carter, with Langley later returning to join Gretchen Wilson. Jelly Roll made a surprise appearance, telling the crowd he was there to “praise God and raise a little hell” before bringing out Aloe Blacc for “Wake Me Up.” But the night’s biggest shock came when Florida Georgia Line reunited for their first public performance since going on hiatus in 2022 (they performed in tribute to Aldean at CRS in March). Introduced by legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer as if they were stepping into a boxing match, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley entered from opposite sides of the stadium singing “Round Here,” met on a platform in the middle of the field and declared, “We back, baby!” before launching into “Cruise.”
