Life Note: Longtime BBC Radio 2 presenter "Whispering" Bob Harris has stepped down to focus on his health as he battles prostate cancer that has spread to his spine. His shows included the weekly Radio 2 Country. Harris was awarded the CMA's Wesley Rose International Media Achievement Award in 2012 and 2016, and its International Country Broadcaster Award in 2017.
