Austin Roof: Island Records Nashville A&R staffer Austin Jenkins has been promoted to VP/A&R. He will continue to lead the label's Nashville operations. Jenkins joined Island last year following time as an artist, writer and producer. Jenkins also co-founded Niles City Sound studio in Fort Worth.
