Bits & Pieces: Steel City, Tim Roberts, SOLID

Bits & Pieces: The staffs from Steel City's KFKF & KBEQ/Kansas City recently squared off for their annual St. Jude Bowl-4-Life event, raising more than $10,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. KFKF/KBEQ PD Dale Carter reports, "KFKF won the annual grudge match over Q104, but cheating might have been involved."

Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) raised $8,839 during its May 17 Music Row Madness bowling event. The money will benefit Thistle Farms, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics, Hope On The Row and Equal Access.

Audacy VP/Country Tim Roberts is one of seven inductees in the Central Michigan University College Of The Arts & Media 2025 Media Hall of Fame. The Class of '82 graduate will be recognized at ceremonies Nov. 1 at the Bovee University Center Rotunda. Congratulate him here.
