Draper Buys WXCY, WINX
Draper-Media25.jpg Wouldn't It Be Nice: Forever Media is selling its six stations in Wilmington, DE and the Delmarva peninsula to Draper Media for $11 million. The deal includes Country outlets WXCY/Wilmington and WINX/Easton, MD. "We’re excited to add these stations, each with a long history of serving their local communities, to our company," says Draper Holdings CEO Molly Draper Russell. Draper already owns Country stations WRDE & WCEM and Classic Country WAAI in the nearby Salisbury-Ocean City, MD market. The transaction is expected to close in Q3. FCC filings here.
