ACM Industry And Studio Winners
Industry Sweet: Artists and radio helped announce this year's winners of the ACM Industry Awards and Studio Recording Awards through video announcements today (6/17); watch here and here.
Highlights included Paul Franklin winning his second Specialty Instrument Player of the Year Award, marking his 18th ACM Award overall and tying fellow steel guitar player J.D. Maness for most Studio Recording wins. Dann Huff received his fifth win for Producer, bringing his total to 11. Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena were named Theater and Arena of the Year, respectively, marking the Ryman's eighth and Bridgestone's sixth win. The Mohegan Sun Arena took home its eighth ACM award, as well, in the Casino of the Year – Arena category. Full list here.
The Industry and Studio winners and TBA Special Award recipients will be celebrated at the 17th Academy of Country Music Honors Aug. 21 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
