Chronicle: Veteran broadcaster Randall "Randy" Sliger passed June 3 at the age of 57. Sliger was born and raised in Athens, TN and grew up working for stations owned by his father, including Country WJSQ/Athens. Sliger would eventually own and operate the stations himself. Full obituary here.

Composer/songwriter Stacy Widelitz passed June 17. He was 69. The New York native had a successful career in television and soundtrack composition, including co-writing "She's Like The Wind" with Patrick Swayze, before moving to Nashville in 2000. He served on numerous boards and was president of Leadership Music from 2017 to 2018. Service plans are forthcoming.
