KUZZ And Effect: Owens KUZZ/Bakersfield morning hosts Cliff Dumas and Tanya Brakebill will retire from the show June 23. Brakebill will remain as the station's Dir./Public Affairs. Starting June 26, MD/afternoon host Kenn McCloud and evening host Vanessa "Ness" Heraldez will team up in morning drive as Kenn & Ness. Mike Bell will expand his midday shift to 10am to 2pm, while PD and noon to 3pm host Brent Michaels will move to afternoons – 2pm to 6pm. New to evenings will be Skyview's B-Dub Radio.

Dumas will focus on his station ownership group BTC USA Holdings; he joined KUZZ in 2020 (CAT 8/28/20) and prior stops include KSON/San Diego, KRST/Albuquerque and then-Country CISS/Toronto. Brakebill has been with KUZZ since 2000, McCloud joined the station in 2016 (CAT 10/12/16) and Heraldez started in nights last fall (CAT 11/29/22). Michaels is still looking for one more talent to round out the air staff, reach him here.
