The position had been vacant since the departure of "Crash Kelley" Browning in December. This is a return to WVRC for Atkins, who prior to his two years at WKML (CAT 5/12), spent five years at WKWS/Charleston, WV, with his Country Roads With KC evening show heard on the company's seven Country stations.
