Cherry Buy: Townsquare Media has closed on its purchase of Cherry Creek Media’s 43 stations across nine markets for $18.75 million; eight stations are being divested or transferred to trusts, and one remains with Cherry Creek pending local ownership analysis. Townsquare, which already owns 321 stations in 67 markets, adds Country outlets KAAR/Butte, MT; KMON & KMON-AM/Great Falls, MT; KGGL/Missoula, MT; KKXK/Montrose, CO; KWCD/Sierra Vista, AZ; KCIN & KIYK/St. George, UT; KYSN/Wenatchee, WA; and KEYZ & KYYZ/Willison, ND.
